Sisterhood Presents “Thou Shalt Not Bully: A Call to Action”

When

February 15, 2022
7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

A Panel Discussion Presented by Members of Beth Shalom Sisterhood’s Banishing Bullying Behavior Project

Blanche Sosland and her Banishing Bullying Behavior Project colleagues — Robbie Bossert, Joan Jacobson, Ellen Rothman and Aletha Simon — will present, “Thou Shalt Not Bully: A Call to Action.”  Centered around Blanche’s book, “Banishing Bullying Behavior: From Early Childhood through Senior Adulthood,” the panel will discuss the growing epidemic of bullying behavior from Early Childhood through Senior Adulthood, with a focus on workplace bullying and senior citizen bullying.

Blanche points out that people in the legal profession maintain that bullying is the worst in their profession, those in the medical field believe it is the worst in their profession and those in academia whom she interviewed had the same response. One can only assume that those in other professions likely feel the same way.

Additionally, statistics on bullying in Senior Living settings are alarming. As many are considering how to find a bully free environment for their parents and other loved ones, this is often a topic of interest.

You may also be interested Blanche’s latest book titled “A Call to Action: Identification and Intervention for Twice and Thrice Exceptional Students.”  It is a college textbook as well as for parents.

Blanche and the panel will be available for questions immediately following the presentation.
